• The Candidate should have Strong People Management Skills and Leadership skills to coach, develop and manage performance of team
• Should have an exposure and knowledge in Application Support and Maintenance, BT Production support for internet based J2EE application, Service Strategy, Supplier Management, Event Management, Change Management and Incident Management
• Should have knowledge in Solaris 10 OS or Linux, Shell or Perl Scripting, CA Siteminder (Web Agent, Policy Server)
• Must know about Sun One Web Server, BEA Web logic Server
• Should have an ability to take accountability for results and demonstrate ownership
• Must be able to understand the platform, technology, service and business user stories
• Expected to coordinate with escalation and resolution of major service issues
• Maintain application support RUN Books
• ITIL Certified preferred
• Should be to Interact with infrastructure, release management, change management, testing teams, Oracle DBA and application team
• Must be prepare for Manage off-shore, outsourced vendor to an SLA
• Must report promptly to management and business partners regarding critical outages
