• Should have problem solving skills
• Basic understanding of RISC based architecture and RAID Technology
• Good knowledge of any Unix AIX/HP-UX/Solaris/Linux, Power HA/HACMP Service guard, SUN cluster or Linux clusters and mid range Storage servers IBM/Hitachi/EMC/Net app is must
• How to make Installation, configuration, troubleshooting of AIX/HP-UX/Solaris/Linux and support knowledge on SAN and NAS as needed
• Must know about logical partitioning of systems
• Capable of understanding CPU, memory and I/O virtualization
• Knowledge of logical volume Manager, need to know backup utilities and recovery procedures
• Ought to have knowledge in various copy service functions and replication

Key areas: Distributed Client Services, Technical Services
